Embracing Spring and Crafting New Tunes

As the chill of winter gives way to the refreshing warmth of spring, there's a certain magic in the air that breathes new life into everything around us. For me, spring isn't just about enjoying the blooming flowers and longer days; it's also a time when creativity flows more freely, inspiring new music and exciting upcoming shows.

Basking in Spring’s Glow

There's something incredibly invigorating about the first days of spring. The sun shines a little brighter, and the air feels fresher. I love taking walks in the park, feeling the gentle breeze and listening to the birds chirping away. These moments of tranquility often spark new ideas and melodies, providing a perfect backdrop for writing and composing.

Creating in the Studio

Back in the studio, this spring energy translates into a creative buzz. The process of making music is like capturing the essence of the season—full of growth, renewal, and endless possibilities. Each session is an adventure, layering beats, tweaking melodies, and experimenting with new sounds. It's a labor of love, and this spring has been particularly productive, yielding some tracks I'm incredibly excited about.

Looking Ahead to Upcoming Shows

As much as I enjoy the creative process, there's nothing like the thrill of performing live. I'm gearing up for a series of shows in Calgary, Red Deer, and Wainwright, and I can't wait to share my new music with you all. Each venue has its unique vibe, and I look forward to connecting with fans, old and new. There's something special about the energy of a live audience, and I thrive on that connection, feeding off the crowd's enthusiasm to deliver unforgettable performances.

Final Thoughts

Spring is a time of new beginnings and boundless creativity. Whether I'm soaking up nature's beauty or immersed in the studio, I feel an incredible sense of joy and anticipation. I'm excited to bring this new energy to the stage and share the fruits of my labor with you. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to join me for some fantastic shows. Let's make this spring unforgettable together!

Brief Bio

Born in Saskatchewan, my prairie roots have a deep influence on my musical style and approach to performing.  My father was a musician and inspired me at an early age.  I got my start playing bass in the church choir and by the time I was ten, I was hooked on music, performing, and the art of storytelling.

Old country music greats like Buck Owens, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson were played in our humble family home relentlessly growing up.  I’m drawn to modern artists that have the same gifts as these legends and aspire to tell stories and share experiences through music the way they did.  Though I played music my whole life, it’s not until May of 2021 that I’ve been able to focus much of my time to this dream I’ve had since I was 10.  If I can inspire one person with my music, I will have reached my goal.
